"Bill-Master" - for 'any-size' service provider with arbitrary organizational structure

Internet service provider AkademNet, which renders telecom services for one of the Moscow districts, started operational testing of the billing and customer care system "Bill-Master" after acceptance testing had been finished.

Bill-Master based billing solution enables AcademNet to increase their capitalization. The reason to deploy new billing solution was that legacy billing system didn't provide proper performance and reliability level needed for contemporary Internet service provider. Due to migration to new billing system, AcademNet expects their client base to grow. Because Bill-Master allows AcademNet to offer their subscribers new tariff schemes this billing system provides ISP with absolutely new level of quality, performance and reliability.

Deployed billing solution on the base of B&CC Bill-Master includes the following components:

• External financial system integration option - for the online payment system CyberPlat
• Network inventory module

• Telematics service module
• VPN/tunneling authorization module

The project included some enhancements, which gave AcademNet competitive advantages, especially the following:
• Limit of traffic transmission included in user charge
• Dynamic shaping functionality which allows changing traffic-carrying capacity of a subscriber chain depending on his/her traffic volume consumed
• Subsystem of detailed traffic statistics
