Major IT Event for telecom industry

Moscow, 17-19 December, World Trade Center, BILLING and OSS Telecom Forum Russia. This event is dedicated to billing systems development and OSS/BSS solutions.

More than 50 telecom operators from Russia and CIS participated in this event and more than 200 representatives of Russian and foreign companies were delegates of the Forum, including the experts of Software Solutions Division, Inline Telecom Solutions.

The exhibition and the conference "Maintenance of the telecom companies business and operations" took place within the event. More than 20 keynotes were presented by consultants, systems integrators and telecom operators. Visitors of the exhibition were in chance to learn about new and contemporary OSS/BSS and billing solutions, payment processing systems presented by Russian and international companies.

The vital issues of building and development of the information and network infrastructure of telecom companies were discussed within the Forum. On the first day, the following topics were discussed:
- Next generation billing - from Value Chain to Value Web
- Trends of OSS/BSS systems developments
- Evolution of billing system in NGN
- Convergent and large-scale billing system
- How to tailor billing system to marketing programs of a telecom company?
- New approach of billing system - customer loyalty management
- Billing system and CRM
- New solutions for fast-growing markets of telecom service providers
- Innovative OSS solutions for NGN
- Benchmarking of the eTOM model processes

Systems integrators, vendors of payment processing systems and consulting companies showed their solutions and products for telecom business within the presentation section of the Forum. The issues of NGOSS concept adoption aroused a great interested of the visitors.

The second day of the Forum was devoted to the following topics:
- The analysis models, forecast and control of telecom services
- Service fulfillment for telecom operators
- Activation systems of services
- Position of the IT monitoring to provide quality of the rendering services
- Accounting of the cable equipment and GIS
- TroubleTicketing (ServiceDesk) and Asset Management

Traditionally, two days of the conference ended by panels. This year they discussed "Experience of the TM Forum standards usage in Russia. Does eTOM meet the requirements of our reality?", "Tender activity. How to write RFP for OSS projects properly?"

From the practical point of view, case studies presented by large telecom operators were in a great interest among visitors, namely "Inventory systems implementation in Kazahtelecom", "INVENTORY solution in the IT structure of Comcor IT projects" etc."
